Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 30 g fresh sage
  • Basic gnocchi one portion
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Grana Padano grated, for serving

Cooking Instructions

In a pan over a medium to low heat, melt the butter with the garlic and sage until the mixture turns dark caramel in colour.

Pat dry the cooked gnocchi and add to the pan. Cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until the dumplings develop a golden crust.

Season to taste, then serve directly from the pan, topped with grated Parmesan.
