1. Virgin LemonGold® cocktail cordial:

To start, making a simple syrup by simmering 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar until the sugar has dissolved and a syrup has formed. (This is handy to have around the house as it is used in many cocktails.)

For the cordial, combine in a saucepan: 1 cup of simple syrup, ½ cup LemonGold® juice, 1 LemonGold® cut into slices, 2 sprigs of rosemary and 6 juniper berries. Simmer over lowe heat for 5-10 minutes to infuse. Set aside to cool down. Pour 50 ml of cordial (strained if you like) into a glass, add ice and top with sparkling or soda water.

2. Warming LemonGold® hot toddy

Place a tea bag of your choice (rooibos, honeybush and rooibos chai would work well) in a pot and add 2 slices of fresh ginger, the juice of half a LemonGold®, 1 teaspoon honey (or more if you like it sweeter), a shot of whiskey or brandy (optional) and top with boiling water. Allow to steep, then pour into heat-proof glasses or mugs with a slice of LemonGold®. Sweet dreams!

3. Easy LemonGold® gin fizz

Pour 2 shots (a shot is 30 ml) of the gin of your choice into a cocktail shaker and add 1 T LemonGold® juice, 1 egg white, 1 T simple syrup and ice. Shake vigorously for a minute. Pour into 2 cocktail glasses, top with more whipped egg white (optional), add a splash of sparkling water and a curl of LemonGold® peel and serve. Cheers!
