3 light fish recipes

By Jess Spiro, 1 January 2021

Love fish but scared of cooking it at home? It’s time to overcome that fear. Fish is a perfect dinner idea, especially in summer. We’ve rounded up three of our favourite light fish recipes that will fill you up without leaving you feeling stuffed.

Salmon with leeks

Salmon will always feel a little luxe, so save this for an at-home date night or swap the salmon for trout. Toss any leftovers into a grain salad the next day, or make fish cakes.

New midweek fish and chips

The “chips” here are made using leftover polenta, but you could easily swap them for oven-baked chips or wedges. Just don’t skip out the flavours on the fish – they take humble hake to new heights.

Fast, easy fish tacos

This recipe has been made time and time again by most of the TASTE team, so you know it’s a real goodie. Don’t feel like you need to make every component from scratch, sliced avocado and yoghurt are a great stand-in for the drizzle.
