Veggie wraps

Woolworths has added cauliflower and beetroot, carrot and quinoa, and cauliflower wraps to its range of gluten-free alternatives. These wraps come in colourful hues of bright pink and orange and are made from vegetables. Toast and fill with Woolies’ prepped salads such as the edamame-and-black rice salad, smoky four-bean salad, or green slaw and beetroot with green beans, peas and edamame. Add your meat of choice or go completely meat-free. By mixing and matching your favourite salads and wraps, you can create new flavour pairings to make sure you never make a boring lunch again.

Veggie pastas

Have you spotted vibrantly coloured vegetable fettuccine and spaghetti at your local Woolies? These pasta alternatives are made using vegetables. They take just 2 minutes to cook and can be used in stir-fries, salads and to make gluten-free pasta dishes. We’ve used the new cauliflower rice to make a salad that’s filling enough to be served as dinner. Bulk it up with Tenderstem® broccoli, mint, beetroot and a punchy chimichurri dressing. Want something saucier? Add Woolworths’ butternut fettuccine to a creamy laksa curry base. Top with roasted butternut, chillies and bean sprouts to make a 15-minute, Asian-inspired recipe that’s the ultimate lazy-cook dinner.

The festive season may have come and gone, but there’s still tons of summer entertaining to do. Whether it’s just you and the fam, or friends too, there’s no need to plan a complex menu. Simply unbox, air-fry and serve. These air-fryer options include various dips and sauces too. Add a few fresh components such as sliced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, pickled onions and lemon wedges and let everyone help themselves. This is hosting made simple and convenient, even the looming loadshedding won’t put a damper on your menu.
