Crunchy fried chicken, pork and fish recipes that will leave you salivating – plus a recipe for making your own breadcrumbs.

Save that almost-stale bread and make your own bread crumbs:

Heat the oven to 120’C.

Cut a few slices into quarters, place on a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes or until the bread is completely dried out and golden. Run the chunks through a food processor or grate with a box grater and – voila! Home-made breadcrumbs.
