If you’ve got some sausages in the freezer, you’re halfway to making a great dinner in minutes.

1. Baked rosemary lamb sausage and spinach gnocchi

Just when you thought gnocchi couldn’t get more cosy, this hearty bake came along to prove you wrong. Made with readymade gnocchi, it’s a low-effort dinner that the whole family will enjoy. If you can’t find the lamb sausage, you can use any other you like, and sneak in extra greens in the form of spinach and kale along with the Swiss chard.

4. Easy, butter-roasted tomato-and-sausage spaghetti

5. Sausage, butter bean and tomato tray bake with crispy röstis

Speaking of TASTE’s all-time hits, this sausage and bean bake is one of our most well-loved recipes that everyone on the team makes nearly weekly and it’s easy to see why. Pop everything into a roasting dish, forget about it for a while and serve with readymade röstis (which are highly recommended, but could be subbed out with crusty bread if you can’t find them).

6. Pork sausages with fennel and butter bean apple mash

Sausage and mash is a tried-and-tested combination, which is why we love this speedy weeknight-friendly version using butter beans – no potato peeling required.
