Say goodbye to boring old birds and hello to exciting new, ready-to-roast free-range duck and turkey roulades. The Christmas table is about to get a lot more interesting.

It’s just not Christmas without a glistening roasted bird on the table, and with Woolworths’ prepared free-range duck and turkey, the hardest decision you’ll have to make is choosing just one. Opt for free-range deboned duck stuffed with a mushrooms and thyme, or whole roast duck with Chinese five-spice mix. The free-range duck-and-cherry wreath features shredded duck, juicy cherries and spices in a puff pastry shell. Traditionalists will love the deboned turkey roulade stuffed with cranberry and apple, topped with a cranberry glaze. Whatever you choose, you’re in for a treat.

 

Serving suggestion: Bake the duck-and-cherry wreath according to package instructions and serve with cranberry jelly and crispy sage. Roast the duck and mushrooms and serve on sliced red apples and fried crispy capers. Roast the whole duck with Chinese five-spice and serve with a salad of endive leaves tossed with a mustard, lemon and olive oil dressing. Serve the turkey roulade with roasted Brussels sprouts. Toss the sprout petals with olive oil and salt and roast until crispy. Slice the turkey roulade and drizzle over burnt butter.
