i baked a corn bread and after it cooled, I cut a slice and it just crumbles into crumbs. Why?
Hard to know without knowing what ingredients you used. My best-ever (and the easiest ever!) corn bread recipe is a 500g pack of SR flour, mixed with a tsp salt, a tin of Woolies creamed sweetcorn and 2/3 tin of milk – mix together well and then bake in a line loaf tin for an hour at 180C.
Gee I wondered if anyone would ever respond. Thank you so much for your recipe. I had my oven replaced so I can now try your recipe with great success.
