Amarula needs no introduction. The iconic South African creamy marula-based liqueur has been a staple in bars the world over and now there’s a new addition, in the form of the latest flavour – Amarula Vanilla Spice. With notes of delicate Madagascan vanilla, spicy hints of ginger and that famous marula fruit, Amarula Vanilla Spice is the drink this festive season. Sip it neat over ice, mix it into a cocktail, or splash it over ice cream for an indulgent dessert, there’s nothing Amarula Vanilla Spice can’t do. It’s versatile, easy-drinking, and impossible to resist.
Serving suggestion: Make an Amarula Vanilla Spice panna cotta by combining 1⁄2 cup Amarula Vanilla Spice, 11⁄2 cups cream, 50 g sugar and 1 t vanilla extract in a small saucepan over a medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Mix 7 g gelatine into 1⁄4 cup water or milk and stir until completely dissolved. Whisk into the warm Amarula mixture. Divide between 4 moulds and chill for at least 4 hours until set. Unmould and serve with a generous drizzle of Amarula Vanilla Spice and honeycomb shards.
