Icewine

Icewine, or Eiswien, is an especially sweet and expensive kind of late harvest wine in which the dehydrated, ripe grapes are allowed to freeze on the vine, resulting in a very sweet wine. Due to small yields and the risks involved with harvesting the crop at exactly the right time, icewine is expensive and therefore, sold in half bottles. Canada and Germany are the main producers.
