Lemon grass

Lemon grass is known for the lemony flavour it releases when it is crushed, sliced or chopped.
It is often used in Asian dishes, fish cookery and curry dishes.
Dried or powdered lemon grass is available, but fresh stalks are best.
Lemon grass is easily grown if you want a fresh supply all year round.
