Morbier cheese

This wash rind cheese is made in the Jura mountains in the east of France and began as a way to use the leftover curd from the day’s production of Gruyère de Comté.
It is matured for 2-3 months and has a soft and delicate flavour.
It is characterised by a thin horizontal line of wood ash through the centre of the cheese.
Get yours from Woolworths and enjoy with seeded whole grain bread with sweet-tart tomato relish and Dijon mustard.
