Some regard the prolific nasturtium are something of a weed, but their bright yellow and orange flowers have a lovely peppery flavour and together with their astringent leaves.
Nasturtium are now available in punnets from Woolworths and make a lively salad that you can drizzle with a few mashed gooseberries mixed into a simple vinaigrette.
