Oolong tea

Fragrant, floral, sweet and well-rounded, oolong is a traditional Chinese tea that varies in flavour. While oolong does contain caffeine, it’s present in smaller quantities than in either black or green tea.

It’s been credited with helping to reduce cholesterol build-up in the bloodstream, burning fat, preventing heart ailments, treating digestive disorders and strengthening the immune system. It’s also believed to promote stronger bones and offer protection from osteoporosis.

Serving suggestion: Try oolong with rustic mushroom-based dishes or served with prawns, tempura vegetables or duck.
