Here’s how to make the ultimate ice-cream treats
Ice cream is undoubtedly one of the best things about summer. What unlocks childhood nostalgia better than a cone of your favourite soft serve? We’re revisiting two ice cream desserts – ice cream bars and ice cream cake – that hark back to the good ol’ days by giving them a modern twist using Woolworths’ range of soft scoop and dairy ice cream flavours.

They're made using store-bought brownie mix and Woolies' FANTASTICAL™ Soft Scoop berry-flavoured ice cream. This ice cream is a multi-coloured, fruity, berry-flavoured ice cream with milk chocolate pieces, with fruity-berry jelly sauce swirled through it and topped with multi-coloured candy sprinkles. It's a kaleidoscope of bright, fun, colours that will instantly win over the little ones. 2. Ice-cream cake
If you stay clear from baking because all your recipes flop, this is the cake you can't mess up. Layer softened ice cream on a base of crushed biscuits, leave to set in the fridge and decorate using melted chocolate and your favourite sweets and biscuits. For this ice-cream cake, we've gone for chocolate, caramel and cookies and cream, but you can play around with the flavours you love. Strawberries and cream with seasonal berries will also go down a treat. Have fun by mixing and matching your favourite Woolworths ice creams and toppings.
