1. Place the toffees and cream in a small saucepan over a medium heat. Melt slowly, stirring often. Once the toffees have melted, bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and reduce to the desired consistency.
2. For a salted toffee sauce, add ¼ t salt, or as much as you like. Store in a jar and serve over pancakes, ice cream or blended with coffee for a toffee latte.
