Winner, winner, chicken melts and pasta dinner!
When you’re craving creamy pasta with chicken, look a bit further than the usual chicken breasts. Instead, feast your eyes (and taste buds) on Woolworths’ free-range crumbed chicken melts. Succulent chicken breasts covered in a crisp crumb and filled with smoked chicken rashers and mature Cheddar sauce? It’s a no-brainer.
Prepare the chicken melts according to package instructions. Heat 2 T olive oil in a pan, then add 50 g capers and fry for 5–7 minutes, or until crispy. Add 70g Woolworths’ pitted olives with a hint of chilli and fry for a further 2 minutes. Stir through 125 g Woolworths’ fresh basil pesto. Toss 250 g cooked pappardelle with the pasta sauce. Season with salt and green peppercorns. Serve hot with the chicken melts.
