Newsflash: Skilpadjies are cool again

A braai just isn’t the same without skilpadjies. And these ones have all of the flavour with none of the hard work required.


Classics are just that for a reason: because they’re good. In this case we’re talking about a good old-fashioned South African braai staple, the humble skilpadjie, the latest addition to Woolies’ braai range. Made using free-range lamb’s liver wrapped in caul fat, they’re a really authentic addition to your grill. And don’t worry, Woolies has done all the hard work for you, so they’re ready to throw on the fire.

Serving suggestion: Cook the skilpadjies according to package instructions. Serve with caperberries, chopped parsley and charred lemon wedges. Season to taste.
