Want to make dessert, but don't want to go to the shops? This easy chocolate sauce comes together with just cocoa powder, sugar and water, and tastes just like the classic chocolate sauce served in silver boats at restaurants.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar

Cooking Instructions

1. Combine water and cocoa together in a saucepan.

2. Place on stove and add the sugar.

3. Bring to the boil and allow to boil for 3 minutes.

4. Allow to cool slightly and pour over ice cream.

WOW WOW!!!!! This is a fantastic recipe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We planned vanilla ice cream for dessert – I looked in shops for chocolate sauce/syrup – besides being ridiculous expensive, I couldn’t find any (except for the Ice Cap). Thought I’ll try this recipe – I only used 1/2 cup of sugar – it is really great!!!!
