Need a speedy dinner? Try this simple recipe for peri-peri chicken livers using only three ingredients.


  • 250 g Woolworths free-range chicken livers
  • 2 T salted butter
  • 3/4 cup Woolworths hot peri-peri sauce
  • Portuguese roll, warmed, for serving

Cooking Instructions

1. Pat dry the chicken livers on both sides using kitchen paper.

2. Heat the butter in a pan over a high heat until light golden brown. Add the chicken livers and cover the pan with a lid. The chicken livers will splatter in the pan so the lid is essential.

3. After 1 minute lift the lid, turn the chicken livers, add the peri-peri sauce and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from the pan and serve with a warm Portuguese roll.
