- 2 avocados, peeled and stoned
- 1⁄4 cup cocoa
- 2 t vanilla extract
- 3 T maple syrup
- 1⁄3 cup coconut cream
- 150 g dark chocolate, melted and cooled
Place all the ingredients, except the melted chocolate, in a food processor and blitz until smooth.
Pour in the melted chocolate and continue blitzing.
Pour into a baking tray and chill for 1 hour.
Cook's note: This combo is having a moment. The avo adds creaminess, while the earthiness of the cocoa emphasises the sweetness of the avocado. Use as an alternative to cake icing or freeze to make a delicious dessert.
