  • 1 x 500 g pack of all-butter puff pastry
  • Caramelised onion
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Brown sugar
  • Blue cheese, sliced

Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Roll out butter puff pastry and cut into a long rectangle.  Fold over the edges and bake for 5 to 10 minutes, or until puffed up and golden.

Spoon caramelised onion (simmer sliced onion in butter, a dash of balsamic vinegar and brown sugar until sticky and reduced) generously over the pastry and top with slices of blue cheese.
Return to the oven and bake until the cheese bubbles.
Serve warm.
