Cheese-Stuffed Burgers Wrapped in Bacon
Ingredients
- 1 kg Beef Mince
- 1/2 Finely Chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1 tbs Finely Chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbs Season All Grind
- 8-10 slices Mozzarella Cheese, thick cut
- 16-20 pieces Streaky Bacon
- 1-2 Mashed avocado
Cooking Instructions
Mix the minced beef, onion, parsley, ground 'season all' and egg until well combined. {Use your hands}
Shape your burgers around a piece of cheese and make sure the cheese is snugly inside and properly covered.
Wrap 2 pieces of streak bacon in a cross-shape around each burger - kind of like a hot-cross bun...
Cook on medium to hot grill on your Big Green Egg, Weber or on a cast iron skillet.
Cook the burgers until golden brown and the bacon starts to crisp up. {You don't want to overcook!}
For the guacamole, simply mash up some avocados with a fork, season with salt & pepper and add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
Serve a dollop of guacamole onto your burgers and enjoy!
