Keep things fun and easy with Woolworths’ chicken tender strips – a new addition to the much-loved crumbed chicken range. Made from free-range chicken breast tenderloins coated in an ancient grain crumb that adds a hint of nuttiness, you’re guaranteed golden and crispy chicken with very little fuss. Bake or air-fry and they’re ready to serve in 15 minutes. Add to picnic baskets, after- school snack platters or lunchboxes.

Ingredients

  • 400 g Woolworths Llightly dusted crumbed spicy mini chicken breast fillets
  • 4 pita breads, halved 
  • 100 g carrots, julienned 
  • 90 g Woolworths pick & mix solo leaf Crunchita™ lettuce, shredded 
  • 160 g olives, pitted 
  • ¼ cucumber, sliced into half-moons 
  • For yoghurt and feta dressing, whisk: 
  • 1 cup plain yoghurt
  • 1 feta

Cooking Instructions

1.  Cook the tender strips in the air fryer for 10 - 12 minutes or until golden brown.
2.  Warm the pita bread and dollop in the yoghurt dressing. Stuff with the carrots, lettuce, olives and cucumber and top with the chicken strips.
