- 400 g sugar
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 120 g desiccated coconut
- Red food colouring, a dash

- Boil the sugar and milk for 8–9 minutes. Stir in the coconut and mix well. Press one half of the mixture into a greased dish.
- Add a spot of food colouring to the remaining mixture and press it on top of the white layer. Cool and cut into bars.

eyes light up when they are recipients of it.
