  • Makes 36 cookies
  • Easy
  • 10 minutes, plus 10 minutes’ chilling time
  • 15 minutes

We all need something sweet. Fill a tin with these six-ingredient biscuits – made with Nestlé Caramel Treat and Nestlé sweetened condensed milk – or add them to the kids’ lunchboxes. You don’t need to be a pro baker to whip up a batch of these either, you just need one bowl, 25 minutes and a moment of silence when you take your first bite.

Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 1 x 396 g can Nestlé® sweetened condensed milk
  • 150 g self-raising flour
  • 60 g hot chocolate, sifted
  • 30 g cocoa powder, sifted
  • Nestlé® Caramel Treat, to top
  • Maldon salt, for sprinkling
  • Flake chocolate, crumbled, for sprinkling

Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 180C.

2. Cream the butter and Nestlé sweetened condensed milk together until well combined.

3. Add the rest of the dry ingredients and mix until well incorporated.

4. Scoop the cookies into balls, place them onto a baking tray lined with paper, and chill for 10 minutes.

5. Using a teaspoon or your finger, form a dent in the centre of the cookies, and fill with Nestlé Caramel Treat.

6. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven for 15-17 minutes, or until the edges golden. The cookies might look and feel soft, but they will firm up as soon as they cool down.

7. Sprinkle over a little salt and flake chocolate if you desire.
