- 3 heads garlic, cloves peeled
- 1 1⁄2 cups (or more) grapeseed oil
Preheat the oven to 120°C. Place the garlic and oil in a small saucepan or ovenproof dish (add more oil if the cloves aren’t submerged).
Cover and bake until the cloves are golden and tender, about 2 hours. Allow to cool, then transfer the garlic and oil to an airtight container and chill.
Cook’s note: Garlic can be cooked 2 weeks in advance. Keep chilled and bring to room temperature before using. Spread onto a sliced baguette and toast for the best garlic bread ever. Top with cheese and grill to make it even better.
