  • For the wrappings
  • 3 baby gem lettuces
  • 1 packet organic spinach
  • 320 g tortilla wraps
  • For the fillings
  • 300 g chicken chow mein
  • 250 g crispy chicken with a sweet-and-sour sauce
  • 210 g plum sauce
  • 100 g fresh mini asparagus
  • 120 g mung-bean sprouts
  • 250 g mangetout
  • 30 g fresh coriander
  • 30 g fresh chives
  • 100 g cashew nuts with honey

Cooking Instructions

Wash and dry the leaves.
Heat the tortilla wraps, slice in half and roll, leaving a pocket for the filling.
Heat the chow mein in the microwave and the crispy chicken in the oven as per suggested times on packaging.
Allow guests to select their choice of wrapper: spinach, tortilla or lettuce leaves. Fill with a selection of your choice, roll and dip in plum sauce or sweet chilli sauce.

TASTE’s take:
This is an easy way to entertain, as guests will enjoy assembling their own wraps. Simply place wrappings and fillings on a table, along with cold meats and cheese for those who want to snack while they wrap.
