- 10 figs
- 1 T ground mixed spice
- 2 T maple syrup
- 1 sheet Woolworths frozen all-butter puff pastry
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Caramelise the figs, mixed spice and maple syrup in a 20 cm cast-iron pan over a medium heat for 5 minutes.
Cover with the pastry, tuck in any excess, and bake for 20 minutes or until golden.
Carefully invert onto a serving plate.
Cook's note: I'm always amazed that such a short list of ingredients results in something that's so impressive to look at and substantial to eat!
