Looking for a festive cocktail that is refreshing for the summer heat? This fresh cherry vodka sour is it! Not only does it look celebratory, but it's also delicious.

  • 4–6 fresh cherries, stoned and halved
  • 4 T vodka
  • 2 T fresh lemon juice
  • a dash of bitters
  • 1–2 t simple sugar syrup
  • 1 T egg white or aquafaba

Cooking Instructions

1. In a cocktail shaker with ice, muddle cherries with vodka. (Apply some elbow grease to release those vibrant juices.) Allow to stand for a few minutes, then strain.

2. Shake the cherry-infused vodka with fresh lemon juice, a dash of bitters,  simple sugar syrup and 1 T egg white or aquafaba.

3. Pour into a tumbler and adorn your beautiful concoction with a Maraschino cherry or, better yet, more fresh cherries, threaded onto a cocktail stick. Perfection.
