Spier Woolworths Peachy Chenin Blanc 2015

- 1 T caster sugar
- 2 grapefruit, peeled and sliced
- 1 x 620 g box Woolworths vanilla cake mix
- 3 free-range eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sunflower oil
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving

- Preheat the oven to 200°C and grease 1 x 23 cm cake tin. Dust a thin layer of caster sugar into the bottom of the cake tin and layer in the fruit.
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions. Pour the mixture into the tin and bake for 50 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
- Allow the cake to cool slightly, then turn out onto a plate. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
Cook's note: Use oranges, clementines or ClemenGolds instead of grapefruit.
