- 500 g organic strawberries, hulled and blended
- For the sugar syrup
- 200 g organic sugar
- 1 cup water
To make the sugar syrup: Using a saucepan, simmer the sugar and water until the sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool.
To make the lollies: Stir together the puréed strawberry and ¾ cup sugar syrup then pour into lolly moulds and freeze.
Cook’s tip: Serve your lollies in an enchanting strawberry-ice bowl. Line the larger of two small bowls with thinly sliced strawberries.
Insert the smaller bowl and weigh down. Pour water into the space between the two bowls. Freeze. When ready to serve, dip in boiling water to release the bowls.
