- 500 g free-range beef mince
- 1 t cumin
- ½ t fresh chilli flakes
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 1 freerange egg
- ½ cup chopped parsley
- 2 T olive oil
- Grated apples
- Lemon juice
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Mix the minced beef with cumin, chilli flakes, cloves crushed garlic, freerange egg, chopped parsley and seasoning, to taste.
Pack handfuls of the mixture onto skewers.
Add olive oil to a pan over a medium heat. Fry the skewers for 2 minutes, or until golden.
Transfer to a baking tray and finish off in the oven for 5–10 minutes.
Toast a few tortillas in a dry pan.
Serve with the koftas, and a slaw of grated apples, lemon juice and seasoning.
