"This juicy burger packs huge punch thanks to the pork bangers and bacon (if you’re swapping the pork for beef or chicken, leave out the bacon). Cook the patties in the air-fryer if you like.” – Mogau Seshoene

Ingredients

  • 4 pork bangers, casings removed
  • 100 g streaky bacon, minced
  • 1⁄2 onion, finely chopped
  • a handful, coriander finely chopped
  • a handful rosemary, finely chopped
  • oil, for frying
  • For serving:
  • 4 burger rolls
  • lettuce or rocket
  • sliced cheese
  • sliced tomato
  • 4 free-range eggs, fried

Cooking Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the sausage meat, bacon, onion and herbs. Shape into 4–6 patties and chill for 30 minutes.

2. Heat the oil and fry the patties to your liking. Assemble the burgers and serve.
