These pillowy-soft, dumpling-like pastas are fried up with Bockwurst and sauerkraut in this traditional Austrian recipe, creating a tangy smokey dish that comes together in minutes.


  • 2 T olive oil
  • 180 g Bockwurst, sliced
  • 350 g Woolworths spätzle wheat noodles
  • 75 g sauerkraut
  • 2 t pepper

Cooking Instructions

1 Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over a medium heat, then add the bratwurst and spätzle and cook until lightly browned, about 5–8 minutes.

2 Add the sauerkraut and cook until heated through.Season generously with black pepper and serve immediately.
