Because you can never have too much of a good thing, Woolworths continues to expand its southern fried crumbed chicken range. New seasoned steaks are made from tasty deboned thighs and drumsticks that are ready to be baked or air-fried until golden and tender. Use in sandwiches, burgers, or add to a leafy salad to make no-fuss weeknight suppers or weekend lunches.


  • 4 Woolworths Southern fried chicken steaks
  • 4 ultimate burger buns or 8 pieces thick cut sliced bread, toasted
  • 4 T French style mayonnaise
  • 250 g ruby coleslaw
  • 50 g green slaw mix
  • 8 sweet and sour gherkins, thinly sliced
  • pickled red onion petals
  • fresh dill, to garnish
  • 1 lime

Cooking Instructions

1. Follow the cooking instructions on the back of the packaging.

2. Toast your bun and gently smear French mayo onto the bottom.

3. Top with Woolworths fried chicken steaks, ruby slaw and green slaw mix, sliced gherkins, pickled red onions, dill and a squeeze of lime.

4. Top your sando and dig in.
