TASTE drinks expert Jeanne Calitz, is all for using in-season citrus to add zing to your winter cocktails. This spiced ruby margarita is her citrus cocktail of choice.

Ingredients

  • 2 T tequila
  • 1 T orange liqueur (preferably Cointreau)
  • 1 T fresh lime juice
  • 2 T fresh ruby grapefruit juice
  • 1 t sugar syrup (optional)

Cooking Instructions

1. Place all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well. Strain into a short tumbler or a margarita coupe rimmed with a light chilli salt.
