  • 2 cups pitted fresh dates
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 small red or green chilli

Cooking Instructions

Combine the dates and water in a bowl and allow to stand for two hours.
Drain the dates and reserve half a cup of water.
In a blender, process all the ingredients and gradually add the water until the consistency is smooth.
