Swirled marshmallows
Ingredients
- 1 x 220 g box Woolworths marshmallow kit
- 1 t food colouring of your choice
Cooking Instructions
Line a 27 x 18 cm tray with clingwrap and dust with half the coating mix in the kit.
Make the marshmallows according package instructions. Once you have spooned the marshmallow mixture into the lined tin, swirl through a little food colouring using a skewer.
Allow to set at room temperature for 2 hours. Cut into squares and dust with the remaining coating powder.
Cook’s note: Add some chocolate for your own variation on the traditional marshmallow Easter egg: once the marshmallow squares have set, dip them into melted chocolate and chill until the chocolate has set.
