- 1 packet Streaky bacon
- 100 ml Your favourite braai sauce
- 12 Wooden skewers
Inspired by the legendary Oepsies found at Spar, this makes for a fantastic braai snack
Marinade bacon in Jimmy's sauce (or your favourite braai sauce) for an hour
Tightly wrap 1 slice of bacon in a spiral around 1 skewer with a view to leaving about an inch of the skewer free. Continue until all the bacon is used.
Can be braai'd on the open flame, but keep a close eye on them. For best results, pop them into the Weber for around 20 minutes or until evenly brown and crisp.
Set the sticks on a wire rack to cool. Serve warm or at room temperature.
