  • 1 /2 shots rum
  • 1/2 shot freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 shot sugar syrup
  • 1 shot cold mineral water
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 wedge lime, to garnish

Cooking Instructions

In a cocktail shaker, shake all the ingredients, except the lime, and fine-strain into a chilled Martini glass.  Serve garnished with lime wedge.


TASTE’s take:

This is a distilled version of that traditional rum cocktail, the daiquiri. Here, the in-your-face fruity flavours one might expect make way for the subtle aromas of bitters and a finely tuned mix of sour and sweet. Very refreshing and as the name suggests, it comes with a bit of clout.
