  • 3 T butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 pineapple, peeled and sliced
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • Icing sugar, for dusting
  • 2 star anise

Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C

Place the butter and runny honey into a pan and melt. Allow to caramelise, then add the peeled and sliced pineapple, star anise and fry. Remove from the heat and cover with a sheet of puff pastry and fold in the edges.

Bake for 10 minutes, or until the pastry is golden.

Remove from the oven and loosen the pastry. Carefully turn the tart onto a platter and dust with icing sugar.
