- 500 g butternut, diced
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 2 t wasabi
- sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
- fresh basil, for garnishing
Steam the diced butternut, until tender.
In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, wasabi and lemon juice. Season then drizzle over the steamed butternut. Garnish with basil.
Cook’s notes: Serve as a side dish with pork or crispy duck. Pumpkin or sweet potato work equally well in this recipe.
