- 1 T butter
- 1 T flour
- 1 T Worcester sauce
- 1 t Dijon mustard
- 1 can of beer
- 1 cup Gruyère or Cheddar, grated
- 8 rashers of bacon, fried until crisp
Add melted butter, flour and Worcester sauce, mustard, beer and cheese along with seasoning, to taste, to a saucepan over a medium het. Stir until melted and combined.
If it is lumpy, whisk it using a balloon whisk until smooth.
Pile up thick slices of toasted ciabatta and crispy rashers of bacon in layers, then spoon over the cheesy sauce and serve warm.
