Make your stock from scratch. Try this versatile veggies stock recipe or quick chicken broth recipe and take your soups to the next level.

Pro tip: Made too much? Cooked soups are great for freezing and can be easily defrosted and heated up or used as a sauce, simply reduce to thicken. Bring the soup to a simmer, don’t boil, stirring occasionally. The sauce will thicken as the water evaporates. Voilà, a home-made pasta sauce.
