Milk tart in a glass? You better believe it!

There are few local desserts as iconic as a traditional milk tart – and now you can enjoy your favourite flavours in a glass!

Tant’ Sannie se Melktert is a delicious liqueur made using Tant’ Sannie’s traditional milk tart recipe. It’s basically pudding in a glass and best enjoyed as a shooter, dusted with cinnamon, or neat over ice. It’s a great cooking ingredient too, particularly for desserts like these choc brownie and milk tart cheesecake trifles…

Serving suggestion

Soften 250 g cream cheese and mix with 2 cups whipped cream. Sift in 70 g icing sugar and fold through 4 T Tant’ Sannie se Melktert liqueur (add a bit more if you like).

Crumble chocolate brownies into individual glasses, layer with the cream cheese mixture and repeat. Serve dusted with cocoa powder and drizzle over an extra shot of chilled Tant’ Sannie se Melktert
