Three fruity snacks to make with kids
We’re not going to lie, it can be tricky getting kids to eat more fruit, so here are three of our favourite snacks for kids that just happen to be heavy on the fruit.
1. Strawberry smoothies
A guaranteed winner for the whole family, you can make a large batch of this and keep it in the fridge, ready for when the snack attack hits. The cranberries add a fresh flavour dimension but feel free to leave them out if you don't have them – you could also use frozen blueberries, raspberries or a mix of all these three.

2. Yoghurt muffins with warm sticky strawberry preserve
We love keeping a batch of these in the house as they're perfect for a quick breakfast or snack, or even as a tea time treat with an extra blob of yoghurt for good measure.

3. French toast with fresh strawberries in rose sugar syrup
Be it for breakfast, an indulgent lunch or a lazy Sunday night dinner, no one is going to refuse French toast. The berry adornments here might feel a little extra, but it really takes all of five minutes and does elevate a simple eggy bread into something much more exciting.
