Thaw puff pastry and cut into circles, with smaller circles in the centre (this forms the middle of the cronut). Brush with beaten egg and layer two circles on top of each other to form one cronut, repeat process as desired. Bake at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes until puffy and golden. Make royal icing according to the packaging instructions. Add a touch of food colouring and drizzle generously over the cronut. Decorate with edible silver shimmer dust, soft-centred silver bling balls or dried rose petals. Serve with hot chocolate or a glass of bubbly.
