Sometimes dreams do come true – see the latest Woolworths TASTE & Eat Out Culinary Bursary winner accept his award at the 2016 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards.
21-year-old Ayanda Matomela from New Brighton in Port Elizabeth is 2017’s bursary winner. Since he graduated high school Ayanda has been interning at Green Leaf Cafe as a chef. In 2017 Ayanda will start his professional culinary training at Silwood Cookery School in Cape Town.
