Apple-cherry jelly popsicles

Beat the heat with these refreshing popsicles made with Woolworths 100% apple and cherry fruit juice blend. Choose between classic frozen juice pops or pops packed with jelly cubes and cherries for a fun twist.

Method
    For simple juice pops:

  • 2 cup Woolworths 100% apple and cherry fruit juice blend
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and stalks removed
  • For the jelly popsicles:

  • 2 cups Woolworths 100% apple and cherry fruit juice blend
  • 10 g sachet gelatine powder
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and stalks removed

Method

Ingredients

For simple juice pops:

1. Divide the juice between six popsicle moulds.

2. Freeze the popsicles overnight.

For jelly pops:

1. Make the jelly by adding the gelatine to a small bowl and topping with 60 ml 100% apple and cherry fruit juice blend.

2. Add the remaining juice to a pan and bring to a boil.

3. Remove from the heat and add the bloomed gelatine. Stir to dissolve.

4. Place jelly mixture in the fridge and leave to set for roughly 2 hours or overnight. Cut the set jelly into cubes.

5. Layer the jelly cubes and cherries into the popsicle moulds, top with juice, and freeze overnight.

Cook’s note: Run the frozen moulds under warm water to release the popsicles when you’re ready to serve them.
